Currently, Mr. Richardson is working with IDAP Global, creating the world’s first neo-investment-bank, which he co-founded during the pandemic.

With over 25 years of sales, marketing, and operations management experience, Chris brings Silicon Valley best practices to technology companies around the world.

Prior to the pandemic, Mr. Richardson served as a consulting executive to a number of companies at various stages of development:

as CEO of Linius Technologies Limited (ASX:LNU), Mr. Richardson was brought in to take some acquired patents from idea to product — ultimately building the technology, generating first sales, taking the company public, and raising over $30 million along the way;

at The Ibis Network, he transformed a boutique lead-generation company in the US to the global leader in social-media marketing for the for the real-estate industry, relocating the headquarters to Hong Kong and doubling sales; and,

as acting COO, he drove Aware Corporation to become the leading IT company in Thailand.

Previously, Chris worked with KIT digital (now Piksel) where he drove global, industry-specific go-to-market strategies that resulted in 29% organic growth, and propelled the company from $100 million to over $250 million in 2012 revenue while simultaneously achieving profitability for the first time.

Before joining KIT in 2011, Chris spent 10 years in Silicon Valley as a senior marketing executive for several start-ups. Most notably

  • U4EA Wireless, where he implemented formal product life-cycle process which enabled a product team spanning the US East and West coasts and India, to bring the world’s first SMB Wi-Fi products to market, attacking a burgeoning $1+ billion industry; and
  • NextHop Technologies, where he led the product management organization in the development of carrier grade networking software. Through his efforts in leading the development of off-the-shelf software suitable for deployment in carrier networks, NextHop acquired all of the marquis names in the space as customers (Hitachi, Huawei, Ericsson, Juniper, HP, IBM, Sun, etc…)  before its successful exit through acquisition.

Prior to working in Silicon Valley, Chris was with Merit Networks where he was an active evangelist for the Internet in developing countries, lecturing both at ISOC Developing Countries Workshops and at the All-Russia Telematics Conference, where he was the first foreign speaker, presenting his current research on Internet routing: Мультикастинг в IP-Сетях: Современный Уровень и Перспективы Развития; К.Ричардсон, С.Харес, А.Ю.Глебовский (IP Multicast: Current Practices and Research Directions, C. Chris was a Bychinsky scholar in mathematics, and recipient of the Branstrom Prize, at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
