Currently, Mr. Richardson is the CEO of Linius Technologies Limited (ASX:LNU), a technology startup working on revolutionising the on-line video ecosystem. In addition, Mr. Richardson sits on the board of directors of Mirovoy Sales, a sales outsourcing company based in Prague, CZ; The Ibis Network Limited, a content marketing agency based in Hong Kong, CN; and is a partner in C.W. Richardson & Associates, a management consulting firm focused on small technology businesses around the world.

With over 20 years of sales, marketing, and operations management experience, Chris brings Silicon Valley best practices to technology companies around the world.

Previously, Chris worked with KIT digital where he drove global, industry-specific go-to-market strategies that resulted in 29% organic growth, and propelled the company from $100 million to over $250 million in 2012 revenue while simultaneously achieving profitability for the first time.

Before joining KIT in 2011, Chris spent 10 years in Silicon Valley as a senior marketing executive for several start-ups. Most notably

  • U4EA Wireless, where he implemented formal product life-cycle process which enabled a product team spanning the US East and West coasts and India, to bring the world’s first SMB Wi-Fi products to market, attacking a burgeoning $1+ billion industry; and
  • NextHop Technologies, where he led the product management organization in the development of carrier grade networking software. Through his efforts in leading the development of off-the-shelf software suitable for deployment in carrier networks, NextHop acquired all of the marquis names in the space as customers (Hitachi, Huawei, Ericsson, Juniper, HP, IBM, Sun, etc…)  before its successful exit through acquisition.

Chris was a Bychinsky scholar in mathematics, and recipient of the Branstrom Prize, at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
