The Czech Republic is now making a bunch of their COVID data available via API. This is a graphical interface to that data. This interface is … shall we say, “beta”. If you have any problems or want to request a specific view, no promises, but you can drop me a line and I’ll do my best.

Cases

Data set containing incremental and cumulative daily numbers of people with proven COVID-19 disease according to reports from regional hygienic stations, including laboratories.

Tests

Data set containing incremental and cumulative daily numbers of performed tests with a distinction into first tests (number of tests on a given day after correction for repeated and control tests) and repeated tests on the same person for COVID-19 according to laboratory reports. NB: there’s a long, complicated explanation of this data in Czech, that I don’t quite understand, but … I think it’s all good for the moment (there’s some discussion of including antigen tests in the future; and there was a change in methodology around November 16th to align with EU-standards.

Combinations

This is actually a bit of a mishmash. The government only reports this as cumulative totals, and so we have to back-calculate the daily numbers from there. Also, everything is from a different origin: containing cumulative daily numbers of persons with proven COVID-19 disease according to regional hygienic stations, including laboratories,;daily numbers cured after COVID ‑ 19 according to regional hygienic stations; daily deaths in connection with COVID ‑ 19 according to regional hygienic stations and in-hospital deaths; and daily numbers of COVID-19 tests performed as reported by laboratories. Because deaths get reported over time, those numbers can be updated retroactively.
